THE DETAILS

Pas de Deux™ is the Blossombless.co Nutcracker sweatshirt. A wooden nutcracker in his red coat and tall gold hat holds a tiny ballerina in both hands, the way you hold something you can't replace. A cracked walnut sits by his boot, because that was his job before he ever met her. Above them, Fa La La in painterly gold lettering. Done in a gouache style, like a page from an old storybook, for the family that goes to The Nutcracker every December, and for anyone who once danced in it.

THE BUILD

• • Comfort Colors® 1566 crewneck: 9.5 oz/yd² (322 g/m²), 80% ring-spun cotton, 20% polyester, 30 singles, with a 100% ring-spun cotton face.
• • Three-end fleece, garment-dyed for a lived-in feel with minimal shrinkage. OEKO-TEX® certified.
• • Rolled-forward shoulders, side seams, and 1x1 rib at the collar, cuffs, and waistband, so it layers cleanly over a leotard or a turtleneck.
• • Printed DTG directly into the fabric, so it stays soft to the touch with no heavy patch on the chest.
• • Twill tape inside the back neck, with BLOSSOMBLESS.CO printed at the back neck.
• • Garment dyeing gives every piece a slightly different shade.

GOOD TO KNOW

Does it shrink?
Garment dyeing pre-washes the fabric, so expect minimal shrinkage. Wash cold, then tumble dry low or hang dry.

Will the gold lettering crack?
It isn't a vinyl or a heavy transfer. The ink is printed into the fabric surface, so it moves with the sweatshirt. Wash it inside-out on cold to keep the colors bright longest.

Which color shows the design best?
Pepper is the classic: the red coat, the gold hat and the pink tutu stand out like a stage lit for the first act. Blue Spruce keeps it deep and wintry, the way a Christmas tree sits behind the red coat. White is clean and bright, and Butter gives it a warm, vintage storybook feel. On Light Green the gold lettering reads softer. On Crimson the red coat blends into the shirt, and the gold hat and the ballerina carry the look.

Do you have to be into ballet to wear it?
Not at all. If The Nutcracker is part of your December, it's yours. It's also an easy gift for a dancer, a ballet mom, or the friend who has seen the show more times than she'll admit.

How does it fit?
Relaxed fit, with room through the body and a little drop at the shoulder. If you're between sizes or want it roomier, size up one.
